Iowa's statewide preschool program spared by House

The Iowa state Senate has revised a bill that would have ended universal pre-K in Iowa, and was approved by the House just yesterday.  However, although the bill spared spared the statewide preschool program, it didn’t allocate money to fund it, and it is likely that certain Representatives will advocate the cuts by underfunding the program when the state budget bill is up for debate later this year.
