New Hampshire Poll Released

The Every Child Matters Education Fund has released the results of a poll taken of New Hampshire residents likely to vote in the presidential election of 2012. We commissioned the firm of Mason-Dixon Polling and Research to gauge Granite Staters’ opinions about issues facing children and families and the proper role of the federal government in addressing them.

The poll surveyed 600 New Hampshire residents – a combination of general election swing voters and likely Republican primary voters. One of the most interesting findings is that 91% of general election swing voters and 77% of GOP primary voters want child well-being issues to be addressed by the candidates. A majority do not know where the candidates stand on children’s issues.
