Every Child Matters was founded in 2001 as a 501(c)(3) non-partisan children’s advocacy organization. Our mission is to make children a national priority.

Every child deserves a fair shot at the American Dream. But that dream is harder to achieve as inequality increases. We don’t want to just shrink the opportunity gap; we want to build a movement to eliminate it.

We raise the profile of children’s issues through grassroots activism, public education and voter mobilization. Every Child Matters does this in partnership with national, state and local groups.

Our conversation should focus on:

• Ensuring opportunity for every child;
• Allowing parents/caregivers to both provide and care for their children;
• Guaranteeing access to high-quality education;
• Keeping kids safe and healthy.

Kids are central to any nation’s happiness and success. Investing in them helps our families, communities, economy and democracy. That’s why we’re voting for kids.
